Oh, how I love missing out on wifi and having a soaking bathroom floor! Such delightful surprises!

It was a unique experience, without boardwalks or guides, allowing us to feel truly immersed in nature. The kids loved spotting exotic birds and creatures, while we savored the tranquility and beauty of the unspoiled surroundings.
For dads, it would be great to have an outdoor playground for the kids.

The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, surrounded by the beauty of the rainforest. Falling asleep to the sound of rain in the forest was a magical experience. Another great thing about the hotel was the abundance of exotic fruit on-site. Being able to pick and enjoy delicious tropical fruits was a treat. the seclusion of the hotel added to the charm and made it feel like a true escape from society.
One of the downsides of the hotel was the lack of responsiveness from the staff. It was difficult to get hold of someone who worked there when we needed assistance.

We stumbled upon one of the hidden treasures of the Daintree region during our stay at Wildwood. The unguided rainforest walk was a thrilling experience for both us and the kids. Unlike the typical boardwalks, this trail allowed us to truly immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of the area. Surrounded by ancient trees and vibrant foliage, we felt like adventurers on a secret quest. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to learn about the wonders of the rainforest firsthand, spotting unique plants and listening to the chorus of wildlife. This experience will forever remain etched in our memories.
For dads, it would be great if there were more options for hot showers.

We had an incredible honeymoon experience at Wildwood Villa. the location is absolutely stunning, nestled deep within the forest. Despite arriving at night, we were pleasantly surprised that the cabin was completely isolated, ensuring a peaceful stay without any interruptions from insects or animals. the spacious cabin was tastefully decorated with cozy wooden furnishings, and there were plenty of outdoor seating options to enjoy the breathtaking rainforest views. Sheree and Jason, our friendly hosts, even greeted us with a basket of exotic fruits from their orchard. it was pure relaxation and we highly recommend it to everyone!
For us, Wildwood Villa was ideal.

Surrounded by the amazing beauty of the Daintree, it offered the perfect retreat in nature. The cabin was thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities and furniture provided. Waking up to the sights and sounds of the rainforest was a magical experience. The host, Sharee, was cute and generous, even surprising us with a basket of exotic fruit from their orchard. The location was convenient, just a short drive from the township. The verandah with a BBQ was perfect for enjoying breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the cabin was clean. The hosts provided great advice on local activities and food options. The cabin being off-grid was a bonus, reducing the carbon footprint.
While it wasn't tropical fruit season , I had hoped to experience the fruit platters and orchard tours mentioned. it would have been nice to have fresh towels provided without having to ask, especially considering the wet weather.
